Roofing in Altoona–Johnstown

19 roofers. Pennsylvania doesn't license this trade. Everyone here has an active Pennsylvania business registration; we haven't checked insurance yet unless the listing says so.

Before you hire: Pennsylvania requires home improvement contractors who do $5,000 or more of work a year to register with the Attorney General, and their contracts, ads and estimates must show the registration number (PA followed by six digits); look it up on the Attorney General's search before you sign. A contract over $500 must be in writing, you have three business days to cancel it, and a contractor can't ask for a deposit of more than a third of the price on a job over $1,000 unless materials are special-ordered. In Philadelphia, construction work also takes a city contractor license; we show it on a listing when we've matched one, so ask for the number if you don't see it.
