What we checked

Texas requires a Nursery Floral license to sell plants. We couldn't match this nursery by name to the state's list, which has only names and counties. Ask to see the license. Look it up yourself (Texas Department of Agriculture)

We couldn't match this nursery to the Department of Agriculture's Nursery Floral list by name in its area, which is common because the list has only names and counties. Texas requires that license to sell plants, so ask to see it.

What it costs

Fees not posted yet. Before they come, ask:

• Is there a trip charge, and is it waived if I hire you?
• Is there an after-hours or weekend fee?
• Do you charge to find the problem?
• What's the least you charge for a visit?
• Will I get a written price before work starts?

How fast they respond
